Starr Project

Location
Highlights1 & 2
- Recent drilling has confirmed grade continuity between historical drill holes in the Starr Central target area and results indicate high-grade gold mineralization extends along strike.
- Several thick high-grade gold zones identified. Significant intercepts include:
g/t Au
34.9 m1
g/t Au
25.75 m1
4.1
g/t Au
14.2 m2
- The Starr Project has historically been underexplored and drilling is expected to increase our confidence in the geology and structure of these mineralized zones especially in the eastern and southern parts of the Project.
- Metallica Metals has recently completed an initial 4,426 m maiden program on the property. Results for holes STR21-001 to 015 have been released with the balance of assays expected soon.

Pictures
VG (visible gold) from drill hole STR21-017. The gold grain is found within a larger chalcopyrite grain located on the edge of a quartz vein surrounded by haematitic alteration.
Highly deformed quartz veining found in drill core attesting to the fact that Starr has the right structural ingredients (faulting, folding) to host an orogenic gold deposit
Historical mined-out blast pit at the Powell Vein (located 700m south-east of the Starr Showing). The vein was discovered and trenched by the Powell brothers in 1934. This attests to the fact that high-grade gold exists at surface, in the early 20th century miners extracted materials that had grades in the ounces per tonne, not grams per tonne.
Historical drill core stacked up on the Starr property. Much of this core was never sampled and is available to Metallica to assay at any moment if deemed necessary.
Example of high-grade Au mineralization surrounded by a lower-grade halo at the central Starr showing
Example of mineralization style in Starr drill core from hole STR21-004. Quartz veining surrounded by haloes of haematite and albite alteration containing large pyrite grains.
Description
- Located in the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt where multi million ounce deposits have been discovered
- Option to own 100% with large land position hosting multiple high grade gold & silver zones in excellent geology
- High grade surfaces showings with historical bulk samples returning up to 356.3 g/t gold & 850 g/t silver
- Multiple untested surface gold showings associated with regional structural trends with coincidental soil geochem anomalies
- Highlights from past drilling at the Starr Mining Project include 5.36 g/t Au over 20 m in the Star Zone and 32.0 g/t Au over 5.9 m on the Powell Zone
- Additional drill ready targets to be tested in 2022
